Two Motorola phones with the model codes XT2241-1 and XT2251-1 showed up in the Geekbench database yesterday. The Moto X30 Pro, a flagship device powered bySnapdragon 8+ Gen 1,is the former. However, the XT2251-1 appears to be the Moto Razr 2022 clamshell phone, which is set to make its Chinese debut on August 2 with the X30 Pro.
Previous sightings of the XT2251-1 device have been made on certification sites including the Wi-Fi Alliance, China’s MIIT and 3C. It may come with a 33W charger, which indicates that it may be a mid-range handset, according to the 3C listing. However, it looks like it might be the Motorola Razr 2022 given that the Snapdragon 9+ Gen 1 processor has been seen on Geekbench.

The Motorola XT2251-1 has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, 12GB RAM and Android 12 OS, according to the Geekbench listing. It scored 4,076 points in the multi-core test and 1,251 points in the single-core Geekbench 5 test. While it appears that the XT2251-1 is the Razr 2022, it is best to wait for further information before making that determination.
The 6.7-inch pOLED FHD+ foldable screen on the Moto Razr 2022 features a 120Hz refresh rate. On the rear, there will be a 3-inch cover display. It will have a 32MP selfie camera and a 50MP main + 13MP ultrawide dual camera configuration for photography.
Under the hood there will be a 2,800mAh battery, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 31. Storage.
