Android 13 based Nothing OS Beta Version will launch before the end of 2022

With the Nothing Phone (1), Carl Pei’s Nothing made its debut in the smartphone market back in July. It was quite unexpected, given that users had anticipated the new brand to be proactive with Android upgrades, however a report earlier this week by Android Authority indicated that the Nothing Phone (1) Android 13 update will be issued in 2023. Carl has since added the assurance that the Nothing Phone (1) will in fact receive the Android 13 stable upgrade in the first half of 2023.

The business intends to deploy an Android 13- based Nothing OS beta version for the Nothing Phone (1) by the end of the year, Carl also announced the time frame for the Nothing Phone (1) Android 13 stable release. Check out Carl Pei’s tweets down below.

Nothing will hurry out upgrades at the expense of the user experience, Carl has reaffirmed. In a month after its release, the company released three upgrades for the Nothing Phone (1), which improved the user experience and the camera personality, battery life and other features based on input from existing customers.

Carl also mentioned that Nothing wants to provide some entertaining and captivating software experiences for the Nothing OS. Recall that Nothing OS 1.0, which is quite similar to standard Android, is pre-installed on the Nothing Phone (1). It will be fascinating to see what new features the forthcoming Nothing OS version will provide.

Recent price increases for the Nothing Phone (1) in India were justified by fluctuating currency exchange rates and growing component costs. The Nothing Phone (1) is now INR 1,000 more expensive than it was when it was first introduced in the nation. This indicates that the Nothing Phone (1)’s entry level model costs INR 33,999 to purchase in India.
