Axon 30S scheduled to arrive on September 26 with an under-display camera

The Redmi K60 will presumably have a Dynamic Island-style notification system, and Realme appears to be interested in that as well. Xiaomi has previously stated that the Civi 2 will have a pill-shaped notch for its two front cameras. ZTE has the ideal remedy if you cringe at the thought of Android developers scrambling to copy Apple’s new design.

On September 26 (Monday), the business will introduce the ZTE Axon 30S, which has an under-display camera. Look at this: there is no notch, no pill-shaped punch-hole, just a screen.

Another official teaser claims that the phone would weigh 192g and be 7.8mm thick. The Weibo tweet makes an attempt to portray it as thin and light, although that is only partially accurate.

Additionally, we’re not completely clear why ZTE is returning to the Axon 30 series since the Axon 40 series is already available (the most recent of which arrived last year). Perhaps this will be an updated model of the Axon 30 5G (also with an UD camera).

While the Axon 30S may have passed TENAA and been shown to feature a smaller 6.67″ (AMOLED, FHD+) display, the Axon 30 5G has a massive 6.92″ display. The battery will have a bigger 4,430mAh capacity (up from 4,200mAh). The 30 5G was somewhat lighter than the 189g mark, which is odd given its size.

However, the camera system may be streamlined to a 64MP primary, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth camera (omitting the 8MP ultra wide). The 16MP resolution selfie camera will be available. Of course, this assumes that the ZTE 9042N actually is the Axon 30S.

Even though it will also include an under display camera, the Axon 40 SE/Blade V40S looks to be unconnected to this gadget.
