Google will unveil Pixel 6a at Google I/O while Pixel 7 series and Pixel Watch will arrive in October

This year’s Google I/O is scheduled on May 11-12 which will be the year’s first event hosted by the search giant. As is normally the case Google announces the latest version of the Android alongside some new hardware.

This year’s I/O conference will mark the debut of the Pixel 6a, as per the latest information shared by John Prosser. Whereas the long-awaited and rumored Pixel Watch and Pixel 7 series will make their official debut at a separate event in October.

John Prosser mentions that the Pixel 6a will hit most of the markets by July 28. The new leak suggests the Pixel Watch teaser will be shared at Google I/O. However, the Pixel Watch and the Pixel 7 series will be announced in October.

Pixel 6a will join the ranks alongside the Pixel 6 series and follow the same design but with a more compact form factor and a 6.2-inch OLED display. The handset will use the same Tensor chipset and will come with a 12.2MP Sony IMX363  main sensor and a 12MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide snapper accommodated in the visor on the back.
