Leak reveals more info about 200MP camera on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will sport a 200MP camera with a brand-new ISOCELL sensor. And today, we have fresh information from renowned leaker IceUniverse, who has a strong history with Samsung.

He claims that the presence of 0.6µm pixels on a 1/1.3” sensor with an f/17 aperture up front in the upcoming 200MP camera is “100% confirmed.”

These are distinct from the 200MP camera sensors that are currently available on the market, the ISOCELL HP1 or ISOCELL HP3 modules. The new sensor will fit between the HP1 and HP3, whose sizes are 1/1.22” and 0.64µm pixels and 1/1.4” and 0.56µm pixels, respectively.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will carry over the S22 Ultra’s camera design and retain the 10MP periscope module from the earlier model, which is really two years old because it first appeared on the S21 Ultra. A 5,000mAh battery and a bigger fingerprint scanner are suggested by other reports, but there are still months until the official announcement, so a lot can happen before Samsung releases its 2023 flagships.
