Smartphone manufacturers are preparing to introduce their most recent selection of high-end handsets as the new year draws near. Recently, a new leak that included details on the high-end Xiaomi 13 series came to light.
The Chinese microblogging platform Weibo is where the breach originated (Via NoteBookCheck). The blogger provided important information on the display of the Xiaomi 13 and the more expensive Xiaomi 13 Pro in this web article. Lei Jun, the CEO of the Chinese electronics giant, has previously stated that the business would introduce a new Ultra model similar to the Mi 11 Ultra. But as of right now, we know more about the company’s next flagship smartphone models’ basic and Pro variants.
According to rumors, the Xiaomi 3 would have a display with a 6.38-inch diagonal dimension. If this is accurate, the forthcoming basic model will have a screen that is a little bit bigger than the 6.28-inch panel features on the Xiaomi 12 model. The bigger screen will still have a Full HD+ resolution, though. On the other hand, it appears that the 13 Pro’s display will be the same size as the 6.73-inch panel featured on the 12 Pro and will even have a QHD+ resolution.
Remember that this is still only a report, so take it with a grain of salt for the time being. According to what we currently know, the Xiaomi 13 series will probably go on sale soon after the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is unveiled. It won’t be surprising if the smartphone OEM is once again among the first to use the chip maker’s most advanced high-end chipsets. In addition, the business is working with Leica to develop the cameras for its upcoming premium smartphones.
