The details surrounding the OnePlus 10R (codenamed “pickle”) has been circulating around the market for a few months now. The smartphone is expected to go official sometime in Q2 2022. OnePlus hasn’t shared any detail surrounding the 10R yet, but a leak online shares full specs, suggesting it won’t be an entirely new smartphone.
The leaked specs sheet confirms a Dimensity 8100 SoC which was previously rumored to be the Dimensity 9000. The software side will be covered by Android 12 based OxygenOS 12 out of the box. The chipset will be paired with 8GB/128GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The front will be equipped with a 6.7” 120Hz Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display with HDR10+ support and will have a center-aligned punch hole for the 16MP selfie camera. The back will have a triple camera setup led by 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor and OIS. It will be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide (IMX355) and 2MP macro shooter.
Both front and back of the 10R will be covered by Gorilla Glass. It will have a NFC chip and support for Hi-Res Audio. The handset will also support Dolby Atmos and feature stereo speaker setup. The smartphone will skip the 3.5mm headphone jack and an alert slider.
As per the leaked info `0R will have two variants – one with a 4,500mAh battery paired with 150W charging and the other with 5,000mAh battery supported by 80W charging. These specs sound very much like that of the Realme GT Neo3 which made its debut a few days ago.
The OnePlus Nord 3 is also rumored to have similar specs, which is a bit confusing. We expect to get more details about the two phones soon. Perhaps at the March 31 event where the brand will unveil the OnePlus 10 Pro in the global markets alongside the Bullets Wireless Z2 Bluetooth earphones.
