Lenovo Legion Y70 confirmed to debut on August 18

Lenovo is getting ready to reveal the Legion Y70, also known as Halo, which is the company’s first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 smartphone. Lenovo said that the tablet would officially go on sale on August 18 at 7 PM China time. Lenovo provided some new details about the Y70’s specifications in addition to confirming the launch date.

A 1/1.5-inch 50MP sensor with OIS that can capture up to 8K video at 30fps will be the camera’s star. A second 13MP ultrawide module and a 2MP depth module are included on the rear. Lenovo says that the Legion Y70’s 5,100mAh battery with 68W charging can complete an 0-80% charge in 34 minutes. Additionally, Lenovo claims that a single charge would last for 8.5 hours of gaming, 18 hours of movie viewing and 35 hours of audio listening.

The 6.67-inch AMOLED display on the phone would have a refresh rate of 144Hz, according to earlier sources. Additionally, up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage are anticipated for the phone. Android 12 should cover the software side, with ZUI 13 on top.
