The end of December is almost approaching, which means Xiaomi will soon unveil its newest flagship line. Of course, there are rumors, and the most recent one is all about the Xiaomi 13 Pro and the majority of its specifications.

The camera arrangement in this report is arguably its most intriguing feature. The main sensor will be a 1″ Sony IMX989, 50MP sensor from the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, therefore the triple 50MP camera arrangement on the back will still be present.

The sensor was jointly developed by Sony and Xiaomi at a $15 million R&D expenditure, resulting in increased light sensitivity and performance that is difficult to match.

The Surge C2 ISP, Surge P2 custom chip for charging, Leica’s color science, and, of course, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will sit behind the wheel, making up the remainder of the specifications, which are almost identical to those of the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
