MediaTek preparing to unveil Dimensity 9200 with Cortex-X3 core next month

One of the first manufacturers to adopt ARM’s powerful Cortex-X2 core, MediaTek unveiled the first chipset last year that used the 4nm manufacturing process. And because November is just around the corner, it only makes sense to anticipate the business releasing its flagship chipset for the following generation.

A reliable source claims that MediaTek is getting ready to introduce the Dimensity 9200 SoC, which will be powered by ARM’s Cortex-X3 and offers a 25% improvement in performance over its predecessor.

Performance is also anticipated to be substantially enhanced by the new Immortalis G715 GPU. The SoC will presumably continue to utilize the same Cortex-A710 and Cortex-A510 cores as before and will continue to be built on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing node.

It is anticipated that the Dimensity 9200 would debut significantly sooner than its predecessor in a number of vivo and Oppo phones as early as December 2022.
