For its upcoming X30 Pro flagship smartphone, Motorola released a teaser. The same smartphone is anticipated to feature a 200MP primary camera sensor and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU. In markets other than China, Motorola could release the X30 Pro with the moniker Motorola Frontier.
The Moto X30 Pro will have an unconventional combination of focal lengths, using three distinct focal lengths for its camera system, according to the teaser. The widest it can be is 35mm, that’s equivalent to the main camera on the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra, which is an amazing device in itself. Then there is the 50mm telephoto lens, which on most other phones would have a modest 2x magnification but just a meager 1.4x on the Moto. There will eventually be an 85mm longer telephoto.
If you’ve taken DSLR photography seriously, you’d be aware that the three focal lengths were not decided upon on a whim. However, we are unsure of how well potential consumers will accept the absence of an ultrawide camera.
Motorola hinted at a smartphone with a 200MP primary camera that will debut in July. At this event, we expect to see the eagerly awaited Motorola Frontier, however Moto may have more than one smartphone with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and a 200MP camera on the way.
The Samsung 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor, which can produce 12.5MP or 50MP photos and allow 8K video recording at 30fps, will be used by the Motorola Frontier. Additionally, a curved 6.67-inch OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate is believed to be included with the Frontier. A 60MP selfie camera and a 4,500mAh battery with wired 125W fast charging are also rumored.
