The eagerly awaited Nothing Phone (1) was only just made official for all international markets, including India. Only twice have open sales of the smartphone since then. However, the next sale’s dates are now available.
For those who are unaware, the first Phone (1) sale started on July 21 and the second sale started on July 30. The new smartphone was out of stock on each of these occasions in a couple of hours. Therefore, it is evident that the device was a success in the markets it was introduced in, particularly India. Currently, the company is preparing to launch the third sale of the phone in India on August 5.
The Phone (1) will once again be exclusive on the Flipkart platform, a well-known Indian online store. In terms of the smartphone itself, it boasts a 6.55-inch FHD+ flexible OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC under the hood, along with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery pack that also supports 33W fast charging, while the rear has a 50MP dual camera setup.
There are two color options, White and Black, and three storage configurations available for the Nothing Phone (1) at the time of its debut in India. Priced at INR 32,999 (about $418) for the 8GB + 128GB base model and INR 35,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model (roughly $455). The most expensive variant, which has 12GB + 256GB, costs INR 38,999 (around $494).
