Official details reveal the new red model and key specs of Vivo X Fold+

By the end of September, the Vivo X Fold+ is most likely to be on sale. The Chinese TENNA authority most recently granted the handset certification. Prior to the X Fold+’s release, Jia Jingdong, Vice President of Vivo and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, provided important information.

The Vivo X Fold, the company’s first foldable phone, was unveiled in China in April. The device is not available in international markets. The Vivo X Fold+ will be the name of the company’s upcoming foldable phone, according to Jia.

Jia said that the Vivo X Fold+’s front and interior folding screens would support a 120Hz refresh rate. He claimed that the foldable screen could be folded at several angles, including 30,90 and 120 degrees. He continued by mentioning the display’s 19 DisplayMate A+ certifications. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is included into the cover and internal screens, much like on the original Vivo X Fold. According to certain sources, it will sport the identical 8.03-inch folding display and 6.53-inch cover screen that were offered on the Vivo X Fold.

The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform will be the powerhouse of the Vivo X Fold Plus. It will have a 4,730mAh battery inside that supports both 50W and 80W wireless charging. Recall that the X Fold has a 4,600mAh battery, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, and 66W charging capabilities. There are several rumors claiming that the 50-megapixel quad cameras and 16-megapixel front camera from the original X Fold will be carried over to the X Fold+.

Jia teased the X Fold+’s design by posting the image above. The original model was made available in blue and black. The X Fold+ will be offered in a new red color with a leather finish, as seen in the image. According to a recent source, it will be available in versions with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage.
