OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G scheduled to arrive on February 17, design revealed

Last month, tipster Max Jambor said that OnePlus will launch the Nord CE 2 5G on February 11, but his information has turned out to be away from the mark since ONePlus India today announced that the Nord CE 2 5G will be unveiled on February 17.

OnePlus also shared a video teaser giving us a short glimpse of the Nord CE 2 5G’s design. The smartphone uses punch-hole display, with the cutout placed in the top-left corner, and the back panel has a rectangular camera module with the triple-camera system and LED flash.

The camera island has a different design from what the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G’s (previously called Nord 2 CE) leaked renders wanted us to believe. That said, the clip also shows that the Nord CE 2 5G has its volume keys on the left-side frame and the power button on the right. Hit the play button on the video below.

OnePlus hasn’t detailed the Nord CE 2 5G’s specs sheet yet, but the company did confirm that the smartphone will support 65W SuperVOOC Fast Charging and come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The smartphone brand has promised to reveal more details in the coming days on its official Indian website. However, if leaked specs are believed, the Nord CE 2 5G will be an Oppo Reno7 SE 5G with a better camera system, 65W charging and a 3.5m headphone jack. The last two details are already confirmed.

In addition to the Nord CE 2 5G, OnePlus will also unveil two new smart TVs, called OnePlus TV Y1S and OnePlus TV Y1S Edge. OnePlus is marketing these with a Bezel-less design, powerful gamma engine and seamless connectivity with its smartphones, wearables and earphones.

OnePlus also said that these TVs will run Android TV 11 out of the box with Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and promised to reveal more in the days leading to the February 17 event.
