Oppo is expected to launch the Find X5 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. A new leak suggests that a new variant is in works powered by the Dimensity 9000 chip. A Twitter user has uploaded an image that lists out the complete spec sheet of the two Oppo handsets.
It reveals that the Pro model will have two variants. One of the options has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and MariSilicon X combo. The other model will be powered by Dimensity 9000 SoC. This might make the Find X5 Pro the first device worldwide to feature the flagship MediaTek platform. There is no word from the brand regarding the announcement of the two models of its flagship phones.
Apart from the chipset the two models are expected to basically have the same specs. There might be some variation between the main sensor on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Dimensity 9000 version.The former will have a 1G + 6P lens setup, while the latter will have a 7P lens. Both models are expected to have a triple camera system – 50MP Sony IMX 766 sensor, 50MP ultrawide and a 13MP telephoto camera.
Both variants pack a 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging, 50W wireless charging. The devices will charge completely within 35 minutes as per the claims. The Snapdragon version will launch in 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB memory options, whereas the Dimensity 9000 variant will come in a single 12GB + 256GB option.
The front will have a 6.7-inch 10-bit AMOLED display with a 2K resolution. The display on the Snapdragon variant will be the LTPO 2.0 kind supporting 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek variant will have an LTPO 1.0 panel. For selfies, the devices will feature a 32MP Sony IMX709 front camera sensor. They will come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The two options measure 8.5mm in terms of thickness and weigh around 216 grams.
