The Reno7 series arrived in the Chinese market back in November last year. The company usually follows a 6 month launch cycle for the Reno lineup. Meaning, there isn’t much time left before the launch of the Oppo Reno8 series. Now a leak on Weibo reveals the design render and key specs of one of the models in the Reno8 series.
The leaked renders showcase a Reno8 series device with a design that’s heavily inspired by the OnePlus 10 Pro that launched in China earlier this year. The Reno8 series device sports a triple camera setup on the back and a flat display on the front with a punch-hole cutout.

The camera module on the back of the upcoming Reno8 has a design similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro. Meaning, we are looking at a triple-camera system with a circular LED flash positioned inside a huge module that extends towards the frame. The upcoming Reno series handset also appears to have a laser autofocus module.
As for the specs, the upcoming Reno8 series device is said to offer an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display panel is said to measure 6.55-inch diagonally and will have a Full HD+ resolution. The device might have a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor as per the leak. The details surrounding the functionality of the other two sensors remain unknown for now.
Besides this, the leak mentions nothing else about the upcoming Reno8 series. However, since we aren’t far from launch, we can expect to know more in terms of specs as these devices show up on certification websites in the coming weeks.
