Oppo is working on a clamshell folding phone, similar to the Galaxy Z Flip3, and it is expected to announce it by Q3 of this year.
As per a report from 91mobiles, citing information from Mukul Sharma, the Oppo flip phone will have a price tag lower than the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G priced at $999/€1,049.
Other than the clamshell design and Q3 of 2022 timeline, the last bit of information is that the foldable will be under the Oppo Find line, hinting that it will be a flagship.
Finally, Oppo is reportedly already working on a successor to the Find N. It is likely coming by the end of 2022 and hopefully it will also make it outside of China.
