PC System requirements of Elden Ring surface

Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated games of the year, it is scheduled to come out next week and PC players now finally have a list of system requirements. Looks like the game shouldn’t be too taxing, GPU-wise, as the minimum requirements suggest an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (3GB) or an AMD Raedon RX 580 (4GB).

The game will take up only 60GB of storage and it should be noted that the system requirements don’t recommend an SSD. However, it is a given that an SSD will result in faster loading times and overall better performance across the board. Other notable requirements include a minimum of 12GB RAM. Elden Ring comes out on 25 February 2022 and will be available on PS5, PS5, Xbox series X/S, Xbox One and PC.

Elden Ring is effortlessly one of the biggest releases from FromSoftware games and it has been in development for quite a while now. An Air of intrigue surrounds the game as FromSoftware brought on acclaimed writer George R.R Martin to work on the game.

From the looks of it, the early previews of the game point that Elden Ring will have a lot more focus on clear storytelling as compared to previous FromSoftware titles. Typically, the Souls games or even Bloodborne task player with piecing together the story or narrative by reading in-game items and through character interactions but it looks like Elden Ring will be a much different story.
