Poco is preparing for the launch of the F4 series. The brand has confirmed that it will announce the F4 series soon in Indian and other markets. Poco shared that the vanilla F4 5G will debut in India and other markets with a Snapdragon 870 chipset. There is no word from the brand surrounding the launch date of the handset though.
The F4 5G is expected to hit the Indian market later this month. While we wait for the handset’s launch date, the F4 5G has been spotted in the Geekbench database. The F4 5G is rumored to launch as a rebadged Redmi K40S from China.
As per the listing, the phone is designated with model number 22021211RI. The listing reveals that the F4 5G India variant has a Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood. The brand has already confirmed this piece of information, claiming that it is the most optimized chipset in the Snapdragon 800 series.
The Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood has a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz and is paired with an Adreno 650 GPU. Furthermore, the chipset is paired with 12GB of RAM. This variant is likely to come with 256GB storage. The smartphone is also expected to have an 8GB RAM trim as well which is likely to be paired with 128GB storage.
The phone will come pre-installed with Android 12 and will have MIUI 13 custom skin on top. On the Geekbench benchmark test the handset scored 978 and 3245 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
