Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 specs appears in leaks

In accordance with the new naming convention, Qualcomm has so far released three chipsets using the 4nm manufacturing process: the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. We now know the business will release a Snapdragon 6 series chip with the same naming pattern, known as Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, thanks to trustworthy leaker Evan Blass.

The full specs sheet for the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, which was obtained by Blass, reveals that it is a 4nm processor with the model number SM6540. It is compatible with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+ technology and 5G networks.

The Kryo CPU in the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC runs at up to 2.2GHz, however the number of cores is unknown. The processor enables you to shoot images with a 108MP camera and supports screens with up to Full HD+ quality and 120Hz refresh rate.

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1-powered smartphones can also capture slow-motion footage at 240fps and 4K HDR videos at 30fps.
