Realme Q5 teased to arrive with 80W charging

The Realme Q5 series is set to arrive in China on April 20. It will support 80W SuperDart charging, confirmed by Realme today through a post on Weibo.

Realme still hasn’t mentioned anything about the number of devices in the Realme Q5 series it will announce next Thursday. However, we do know that there will be a vanilla Q5 since the brand has used it for its Weibo posts. Furthermore, it’s still unclear if the regular Q5 will support 80W charging or if it will only be the rumored Pro model that will charge at 80W speeds.

Realme’s post also includes an image of the phone with a punch-hole camera placed in the top-left corner. The bottom of the phone accommodates the SIM card tray, microphone, USB port and speaker.

The smartphone has the power button on its right-side of the frame, which doesn’t seem to also perform the duties of the fingerprint scanner. We might be looking at an under-display solution here, which could mean the phone will have an AMOLED screen.

The event is still a week away, so we can expect Realme to share teasers surrounding the Realme Q5 in the coming days to build hype around it.
