Samsung Galaxy A04e listed on NBTC & Indonesia Telecom reveal key specs

The Galaxy A04 smartphone, which replaces the Galaxy A03 from the previous year, was just released by Samsung. Thereafter, the company introduced the Galaxy A04e in India.

NBTC and Indonesia Telecom certification database now feature the Galaxy A04e, another handset in the lineup, providing some information about the smartphone.

On the NBTC website, the Galaxy A04 is identified as SM-A042FS/DS. The listing confirms that the phone is a Galaxy A04e. As with previous Galaxy smartphones, the DS in the model number stands for Dual SIM capability, which will vary by location. The smartphone will support GSM, WCDMA and LTE, claims the NBTC website. As a low-cost device, 5G support won’t be available.

Furthermore, the Indonesia Telecom website has featured the Samsung Galaxy A04e with the model number SM-A042F. Although the model number is slightly different, the Indonesia Telecom website verifies that this is the Galaxy A04e. Further than this information, no other details about the smartphone have been made public.

Earlier, the Samsung Galaxy A04e with the SM-A04F model number was discovered on Geekbench; however, it was assumed to be the Galaxy A04 Core. We may anticipate that the Galaxy A04e will include a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and a PowerVR Rogue GE8320 GPU now that it is evident that this is not the case. It will come pre-installed with Android 12 and feature at least 3GB of RAM.
