The Galaxy XCover6 Pro, the newest rugged smartphone from Samsung, has been officially revealed. The Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro is extremely durable and has 5G connectivity. A 6.6-inch PLS LCD with FHD+ resolution, a detachable battery, and a mid-range processor are offered with the phone.

Galaxy XCover6 Pro is a tough and well-equipped smartphone. It is reinforced by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ and boasts a display with 120Hz refresh rate. The display comes with increased touch sensitivity which enables you to use it with damp hands or while wearing gloves. The phone alongside the MIL-810H industrial standard, it also comes with IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The Snapdragon 778G powering the phone enables the 5G connectivity support. Furthermore, it supports Wi-Fi 6E wireless networking, and it weighs 235g.

The XCover6 Pro carries three cameras, led by a 50MP main camera and 8MP ultrawide shooter on the back and 13MP selfie cam on the front. The selfie camera sits behind a water drop notch. The Galaxy XCover6 Pro has a 6GB/128GB memory configuration. The phone has a microSD slot which enables expansion of the internal storage.

The 4,050mAh detachable battery for the Galaxy XCover6 Pro is simple to switch out. The Galaxy XCover6 Pro is capable of 15W fast charging. A USB-C cable is included in the packaging, however there is no charger for the smartphone. The smartphone has a push-to-talk button that can be programmed. The XCover 6 Pro boots the One UI custom skin based on Android 12. The phone includes Samsung Dex and an upgraded speaker system.

Samsung has not officially disclosed the XCover6 Pro’s pricing, however it is estimated to be approximately €600 (~$626). Starting in July 2022, the Galaxy XCover6 Pro will be sold in a few areas in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Later on, the device will also be made available in more territories.
