The first phone to run the Dimensity 9000+ chipset will be the iQOO 10 series

The rumors surrounding the iQOO 10 are already making rounds, and we expect to learn more as early as next month. Latest information comes from trustworthy sources claiming the series will have a phone that will pioneer the Dimensity 9000+ chipset.

MediaTek unveiled the chip just last week and it comes with minor enhancements over the Dimensity 9000 platform. The company improved the CPU and GPU by slight, and also tweaked the signal processing and 5G modem. The Cortex-X2 Core, meant for high-performance, comes with a clock speed of 3.05GHz, which got bumped from 3.2GHz. The Taiwanese chip manufacturer promised that devices with the Dimensity 9000+ chip will debut starting Q3.

The anticipation and teasers should start the next week, which also marks the start of the new quarter. We don’t know whether the version of the iQOO 10 or iQOO 10 Pro smartphone will use the Dimensity 9000+ processor, but it could be either one. We need to wait and see if vivo will also use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
