While the leaks undoubtedly reduced players’ expectations for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Showcase. It’s possible that nobody could have predicted the sheer volume of AC projects that will be released over the next few years.
The showcase commenced with a perhaps the worst-kept secret in gaming, Assassin’s Creed Mirage. A beautiful cinematic trailer for AC Mirage was revealed by the publisher, who at last pulled the metaphorical curtain.
Additionally, Ubisoft has pretty much confirmed that the game would pay homage to the franchise’s origins while still emphasizing stealth and parkour movement. Basim, the game’s protagonist, will travel through Baghdad twenty years before the events of AC Valhalla.
Speaking of AC Valhalla? Ubisoft also confirmed the game will be getting its final DLC in the form of “The Last Chapter”, a free quest arc that ties up all storylines from the game. That was far from all that Ubisoft had in store as there were lots of new titles revealed, including a blockbuster AC game set in Japan.
The arrival of Mirage in 2023 will be quite exciting for AC fans, but they will also be able to play Assassin’s Creed Codename: Jade on mobile devices. Players will be able to explore Chinese towns and build and customize their characters from scratch for the first time in the series.
The widely anticipated game Assassin’s Creed Codename: Red, which takes place in feudal Japan, will also be released within the next several years. The game will be a component of Ubisoft’s AC Infinity ambitions, which are characterized as a center that unites many Assassin’s Creed games, including a shrouded-in-mystery new game called Codename: Hexe.
In addition to all of these new games, a new AC live-action Netflix series that is now in the early stages of production was also announced. Unexpectedly, Ubisoft is also developing a new AC game for the Netflix gaming service.
