The Xiaomi 12S series’ arrival in China has been officially announced by Xiaomi. Xiaomi’s 12S series, boasting the latest hardware, will be the next flagship range. Three smartphones are anticipated to debut in the series from Xiaomi. These include the Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro and the top-end 12S Ultra. On July 4, the brand-new top smartphones will be unveiled. The firm will also introduce the standard 12S and the 12S Pro in China in addition to the 12S Ultra. India might receive the devices towards the end of the year.
Judging by the reports. The 12 Ultra, which was intended to be released in March, is really the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. To provide its high-end flagship with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, the brand delayed the announcement. Currently, Xiaomi has also disclosed one notable feature of the Ultra smartphone.
The Sony IMX989 camera sensor, the company’s largest sensor for smartphones, will be featured by the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The sensor will be the largest sensor on a Xiaomi smartphone till date, measuring 1-inch. The Mi 11 Ultra was equipped with the Samsung-made 50MP 1/1.12-inch, GN2 sensor. More details should be captured thanks to a bigger sensor, especially in low-light. Naturally, the sensor must also offer a high shallow depth-of-field.

The 12S Ultra will reportedly include a 50MP main camera sensor, according to rumors. Xiaomi did not confirm the resolution, though. Leica and Xiaomi worked together on the 12S series, according to the company. Leica will assist in fine-tuning the 12S Ultra’s camera configuration.
