ZTE is preparing to launch its next-generation Axon 40 series flagship smartphones – Axon 40, Axon 40 Pro and Axon 40 Ultra. The smartphones are officially coming to the Chinese market next week, on 9th May.
The company has kicked off the teaser campaign revealing some key features of the phone through posters. In the latest teaser poster shared today, the brand shed light on the security chip and the camera sensor.
The company has confirmed that the Axon 40 series smartphones will come with an independent security chip for hardware-level protection. Such chips usually act as a gateway for encryption and authentication features.
Furthermore, the Axon 40 Pro will feature a 100MP camera setup. It was previously revealed that the ZTE Axon Ultra will have a triple-camera setup with a 64MP Sony INX 787 main sensor, a 64MP ultrawide OmniVision OV64GB sensor and a 64MP OmniVision OV64GB telephoto lens.
Earlier, it was confirmed that the Axon 40 series will come with next-generation stereo speakers that could provide an out-of-this-world audio experience. The devices also have support for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sound and dtsX Ultrasound technology.
If the reports are to be believed, then the smartphones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It will also come with an under-display camera setup and an almost bezel-less display panel. Since the launch is still a few days away, we expect the brand to confirm these details through teaser posters in the coming days.
